Nuremburg Christmas Market

December 5, 2010

We took mom to the Chirstmas Market in Nuremburg for the day. It is one of the biggest Christmas Markets in all of German.

The place was packed! It was hard getting Eli's stroller though the crowds but I was so glad that we brought it because it would not have been easy finding him in those crowds if he got away. While we were there they had a band start playing Christmas carols and it was snowing... not too hard to get into the Christmas spirit ;-)

After spending a couple of hours at the Christmas market we decided to start driving home before we stopped somewhere to eat. It had started snowing and the roads were getting pretty bad. There weren't a lot of resturants open. We were looking for a place to get mom some good German cooking. We never found it but we ended up finding a great Chinese Resturant.

Their egg rolls were awesome! Ryan calls them egg folds though, because they are much larger then the ones we are used to and they are folded and not rolled.
