Locks of Love

My senior year of high school I was just wanting a change and decided to cut my hair. When I went to the salon the hairstylist innocently asked if I would like to donate the hair she was cutting off.

That was my first time donating to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a great organization that takes donated hair and turns it into hair pieces for children who have hair loss due to any number of medical conditions. I have donated a number of times since then but am always moved by the fact that something so insignificant to me can mean so much to someone else.
