Ryan had a non-mandatory (read mandatory) company Christmas Party. He was orignally going to go by himself because there was a mix up with the kiddos not getting their phsicals in time to go to child care.
But mom's flight was cancled due to the weather and I was able to go. We weren't planning on staying long just going to make our appearances. Neither Ryan or I are "party animals". We had already eaten dinner so we just sat there for about an hour talking to friends.
Then we made our break for it. Since we were already dressed up and had someone to watch the kiddos (thanks mom!) We decided to go out and grab some dessert.
We ended up going to the guest house (hotel / restaurant) in Parsburg. They have an amazing resturant. We asked for the dessert menu. Our waitress knew a little English but wasn't able to descibe the desserts very well.
This one is a cake.
This one has cherries.
This one plums.
Ect.
So like usual we just went with it and got to try sometime new. Ryan got the Cherrie dessert I got the plum. They were so good.
It was nice to be able to get out, just Ryan and I.
Decided to get the kiddos registered for the daycare so that Ryan and I can have a date night every once in awhile!
