Thanksgiving

Woke up this morning and came downstairs. I was on my way to the kitchen to start making Thanksgiving Dinner. But when I looked out the back door there was some snow on the ground. Caelyn was coming down right behind me. So with her pajamas still on she threw her snowsuit on over them and put on her boots and gloves. There wasn't much snow on the ground but there was quite a bit on the grill cover.

She had a blast! She learned to make her first snow ball and loved hearing the snow crunch under her feet. It didn't take her long to use up all the snow on the grill cover so I decided to take her over to the park next to our back yard.

There was more snow there and she went sliding down the slides that were covered in snow and made her first snow angel.









After a bit I told her that we needed to go start making dinner so that everything would be ready on time. We were originally going to go to some friends house but Eli has been a little sick and I didn't want him getting their kiddos sick. Caelyn helped me quite a bit with getting everything ready.

It wasn't our usual Thanksgiving or how we had planned it but we ended up have a really nice day.
