As I was walking Caelyn to the bus it began snowing. The snow was really fine and mixed with rain. Caelyn was very disappointed. She was convinced that it was just rain and was not at all impressed by the snow.
Later in the day it began snowing a lot harder. Caelyn was still at school but I opened the blinds so that Eli could look out and see the snow. He was watching his Thomas the Train at the time but he gave it up to look at the snow. He just sat in front of the door staring out at the snow falling.

I went over to the other door to get a few pictures. You couldn't see the snow very well in the pictures so I opened the door and pushed the screen door open. While I am taking the first picture and Eli comes out of nowhere and bolted under my leg so that he could get outside and play in the snow. Luckily he at least had his shoes on.

I grabbed his jacket and he was playing outside for about 10 minutes having a blast. Then then it stopped snowing. He looked up at the sky then looked at me and asked "Where did it go?" I promised him that more would fall soon and he reluctantly came inside.
It's snowing!

Trying to catch the snow flakes.
