Another homework project from Caelyn’s teacher was to make something using 100 of something, anything for their 100th day of school celebration. Caelyn wanted to make 100 flowers.
We started off by making a papier-mâché flower pot. Which we painted. Then Caelyn helped me cut out 100 flowers (so thankful for my die cutting machines!) This time we used my computerized die cutter. Caelyn had never used “the big one before”. She is very excited anytime she gets to play with my scrapbook stuff. (I am planning an idea for making a scrapbook together this summer when she is out of school).
In case you were wondering… 100 of anything is a lot ;-)
It took forever but we had a lot of fun putting it all together and it turned out great! Her teacher’s even asked if they could keep her project as decoration for the classroom. She reluctantly agreed.
Adorable!
