First day of kindergarten:




Caelyn’s first day of kindergarten was a very long day for me. Who would have thought that a school day was long when you weren’t the one who was in school?
Caelyn rides a bus to school. It is more like a “charter” bus than a school bus. She rides it with all the elementary school kids that are in our neighborhood. The high school kids take a different shuttle.

Caelyn had a great first day of school. Eli had Rusty to keep in entertained but he still asked about Caelyn quite a bit. He knows that she goes on the bus but I don’t think that he understand that the bus takes her to school.

There are about 17 kids in Cae’s class. She has already made some new friends and she really likes both of her teachers.

They have a full school day. Four days out of the week they have a special class during the day for a while. The four classes are: music, P.E., art, and host nation. Durning host nation she will be learning to speak some German and about some of the German Culture. She already knows quite a few German words. Her favorites are:

It was a very long day waiting for the bus to come and drop her off. Eli was very excited when he saw the bus coming. His face lit up and he screamed “bus!” He has become the life of the party in the afternoons with the other mom’s waiting for the bus to come.
