Boy's Day

Ryan’s friend Charlie has been visiting for the past few days and he will be here for a couple of more. Ryan was able to get some leave approved for the first week Charlie was here but after that they set him out to the box. So Charlie has been having to entertain himself. He has Ryan’s car and we got him added to the access list so he can come and go off base as he wants. Supposedly this is the last rotation for Ryan for awhile. Hopefully that is true.

First day that Charlie was here, Ryan took Eli with them and had a “boys day” exploring caves, castles and hiking. It looks like they had a lot of fun. You can see the beautiful fall leaves in some of the pictures. It is so nice to see color in the fall. They have forecasted snow for a couple of days in the past week. But so far we haven’t seen any. There has been frost on the ground and cars and we even got sleet one night but no snow as of yet. It is definitely getting colder though.












*Update*
Baby Sam is doing much better. His is still intubated but his parents insisted they stop the medication that was paralyzing him (to keep him from fighting the tube). After they stopped the paralytic all of the built up fluid has processed and his oxygen saturations are doing much better. His is still not out of the woods but over all doing much better.
